Great pictures! Very colorful and bright. It must have been a delightful walk. Don't know why, but they brought Charlotte Bronte's story, Villette, to mind. I especially enjoyed the Bovine Patrol. Thanks for posting.

Lovely pics, brings back fond memories of many past visits to Nederland.
I've got my KLM Flying Blue frequent flyer card, but nowadays I never seem to find my way to the outside of Amsterdam airport - my partner and I change planes there on our way to visit her family in Germany.

I vividly remember riding my recumbent bike on the polders in that part of Holland. One day I saw a large group biking towards me led by a striking lady. She stopped and we had a chat about 'bent bikes.
I remember at the time, wondering what rock star I had encountered, only to find out later that I had been speaking to Queen Beatrix.
