Walking the Labyrinth Kilted
This one's for Kennethrmc our X Marks labyrinth expert down in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Page, Arizona may be a small remote town in the canyonlands but we do have a sushi bar, a guy who rides a Segway, and a labyrinth at the Episcopal church.

The visiting family wanted to walk the labyrinth so we stopped by. Of course the kids ran the labyrinth - why not eh? But finally was able to get some pics of walking our local labyrinth kilted.

USA Kilts Caledonia tartan in semi-trad.
Next stop, the labyrinth at Los Abrogados in Sedona, Arizona.

walking the path
Hi Riverkilt,
Very nice labyrinth. Can you tell us where it is exactly and what materials were used to construct it.
And, I hope to post a photo of walking the labyrinth kilted here in High River. We have hired an artist to help measure and guide the painting. It will be in doors at our church.
Great shot!

O brother, missed the line about the episcopal church in Page. Geeesh. My eyes went straight for the pictures! I still would like to know the materials, out of curiosity.

Looks like its made of cement with the labyrinth painted on. Center is a nice rock suitable to sit on and meditate before heading back out again. Lots of pretty flowering plants around the outside. A raised box holds folders about what the labyrinth is and suggestions on how to enjoy it with all five senses.
The pattern of this labyrinth is a replica of the pattern on the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France which was created around 1220.
