    Waterfall and Kilt

My lovely wife Star and I make it a point to try to get the family out every Sunday for a family hike. Like my friend Dale Seago I have a fondness for sticks and kilts on the trail (we really need to head up to Pacifica one of these Sundays and see about a Nor Cal Kilted hike). Today's outing was to Uvas County Park on the outskirts of Morgan Hill and the edge of the Santa Cruz mountains. I really liked this photo my beloved wife took of me by one of the waterfalls and thought I would share it with my fellow X Markers.

I love hiking when the weather is cool and cloudy like today. tartan wool and tweed is a quite practical in such weather and I was quite comfortable

For more information on Uvas County Park here is a nice write up from bay Area Hiker:

    Cheers
