Way Tooo Early Spring Fishing
My youngest son Quinn surprised me for my B-day and came out to Colorado to visit. We spent one day fishing up on the Frying Pan River but it was a tad early in the season. Both of us caught fish but when we started the day it was 42F and eventually ended up down to 33F. Our line was freezing to our rods and we could no longer feel the tippet when we were changing flies. So we headed home. As we always say "A bad day on the river is a lot better than a good day at work". We really enjoyed ourselves and our fingers eventually thawed.

We had just pulled off the river and were ready to head home.
