Attending a weaving conference in Victoria, BC. Here I am with Mag Coe, one of our instructors.

I think he is the only person in a kilt on the campus currently. This will change on Friday evening when The Wizard of BC will come and help in the vendor Market area. Two kilts will be roaming the corridors...

Last evening at The Market of the Association of Northwest Weavers' Guilds conference in Victoria, both Truitt and The Wizard of BC were very evident in their kilts.

Congratulations to Truitt and his kilt in the Scottish Wildcat tartan. Both won additional awards at the Weaving conference in Victoria!

And on the final day of the conference, Truitt and The Wizard again made their rounds through the Market in their kilts. The large group of spinners and weavers meant the fabric was greatly admired! There was lots of "can I examine your kilts"?..........

I got the judging notes. The only point taken off was: Suitability for Intended Purpose - "Seems heavy to wear". I couldn't help but laugh.

I know the judge is a weaving judge and likely doesn't know much about kilts. It still struck me as funny.
