Weddin' Photo
From this past Saturday evening, immediately before the gaggle of guests poured into the reception.
I was near the bride as she made her entrance into the wedding chapel. She reached the threshold and declared she needed to throw up. She quickly gathered all the fabric of her wedding dress and ducked 'round the corner. Thank heavens the chapel was surrounded with stained glass.
Bride quickly returned and she & wedding co-ordinator started again. And yes, again as she reached the chapel's threshold, bride announced she had to heave once more - back around the corner she went.
Staff brought her a wet towel and a 7-UP. She downed the belly-washer, cooled herself, and regained composure. She completed the mission that time, though I believed she was gonna barf again at the altar.
Dontcha just love weddings?

Slainte yall,
steve

Haha! That's an awesome story. I imagine it made that 'first kiss' something to remember.
I remember how nervous and happy I was at my wedding. No butterflies in my stomach but my cheeks kept twitching from the huge grin I had on my face.
Congrats to the happy couple.
BTW I really like the silver tie with that ensemble. I have a tie just like that, never thought of wearing on with the kilt though.

I've seen that sort of thng before--including a fainting at the altar--but I suspect that your attire was the talk of the day.
Nice look! and thanks for the story.

I've seen plenty of bridegrooms looking mighty green, but they were already standing at the altar with their bride.
More than one occasion I just knew he was gonna upchuck all over a perfectly white wedding dress, but haven't seen that happen - yet.
Have seen several groomsmen pass out though... and a bride's maid go @$$ over teakettle down the altar steps. Good thing she was wearing clean underwear. Hope all yall take that into consideration.
Slainte yall,
steve

Poor girl, but at least you looked sharp in the kilt.

At a friends wedding two weeks ago the Groom forgot his marriage vows. It took a nip from the bestmans flask (my BIL) to bring him back to his senses.
