The Wedding
Well, the wedding is over. It was hot to say the least and it rained, just as the "procession" started. But we got through it all. Below are some pic's of the event. More soon when we get the photographer's photo's:

The bride and father. OK, my daughter and myself, starting the walk. She wanted to race down the aisle. (photo by my sister-in-law)

The bride is wearing the Shepherd tartan sash, the groom have the Mitchell tartan flyplaid. The minister is the brides Grandfather (my dad). (photo by my wife)

And finally, the bride. (photo by my wife)
Overall it was a great day! And to wrap things up, the city had fireworks, just as the reception was winding down!!!

A very smart wedding indeed, and a lovely bride.
I hope my daughter looks as good when she is a bride in December.
(Trouble is, nobody will be wearing tartan!)

Congrats to your daughter! You and your daughter look great. Are there any pics of the groom's kilt?

Bob: That is the reason why I picked that particular shot. No, he wasn't wearing a kilt (gasps and groans from the crowd). I know, I know, no flyplaid with a suit coat etc. I am not sure why he is/was adversed to wearing a kilt. He did rent one last September during the games in Altamont (NY). But maybe someday......

What a beautiful young lady! Congrats! But why no tartan on the minister?

Congratulations to the bride and groom, you certainly looked to be a proud dad and rightly so. Thanks for sharing the photos.
