    Wee Pipers and Wee Dancers

Now that the dark winter months are upon us and I will be spending more time at home I finally got around to installing those little pipers and highland dancers on my model railway. I set them up on the parkland banking beside the model of Gilnockie Tower.

Not a particularly clear macro of one of the pipers, but hey this little fellow is only an inch tall and I had to paint him myself. I had to settle for painting the kilt in a solid colour rather than tartan.

How fun Alex! What scale train do you run? Do you wargame?

A few years ago a buddy of mine (from Clan Grant) stopped by the Mackay booth (when I was a member/commissioner for them) & he and my nephew restaged the battle of Culloden. History was rewritten as the Jacobites (played by my nephew) carried the day

We're suppose to be getting together for another clan battle. When it does come together I'll take some close-up photos of the fig's.

Hey that looks like fun Terry.
No I have never tried wargaming.
My models are mostly 1/76 scale but some are 1/87 HO scale. The trains all run on HO track (British railway loading gauge is smaller than continental Europe or USA but the rails are the same distance apart).

Nice Alex. Do you have a room to display the model in?

Yes it is in a spare room.
Those xmarkers who have stayed here have seen the models.
