    Westmeath Tank

I've been meaning to put up some reasonable pics of my Westmeath tank (13 oz and 8 yards) from All Things Tartan for some time. The trouble with getting them has been getting me in the daylight...musician hours. Well I was up "early" today for a luchtime show so here we are.

    Cheers, Erin.

    Nice

That looks good. I'm sure you've been asked before and maybe posted before, but do you perform kilted? For all events or just certain gigs?

Sure do JF, played with four different groups today just after these were taken. Some gigs I might chose not to if it's the sort of joint you get your kilt lifted every ten minutes. It happened a few times today but they where old friends mucking about so they were forgiven. But hell if thier cute I'll forgive them real quick.
But I often play (drums) in a kilt.

Nice looking kilt. It's nice to see pictures. Put up some of yourself working sometime. Any music clips online or your work? O'Neille

That is a beautiful tartan, Erin. I just love those Irish 'greens'!

Now, if I might be critical for a moment?! ("Oh, here he goes again!"). I really think that a brown belt, especially with that beautiful buckle, and beige or oatmeal hose, would give your casual appearance a real lift.

Beautiful tartan and a nice kilt. And Ham beat me to it, always match the leathers. Either a brown belt or a black sporran (although more formal) would look better.
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long
