what does a scotsman wear under his kilt

holely underwear. I went to zion national park to visit with one of my daughters and her two boys. There was a large rock about 15 feet long which lies like a slide on the narrows trail. My grandson wanted to do it but then was afraid so I ran up the rock and went down with him. After that he couldn't get enough. Click image for larger version.

ID:	30569but didn't get my kilt under my butt. At the bottom (of the slide) I had two large holes in my underwear as well as a scraped up fanny. Still it was a great visit. It is a gorgeous place Click image for larger version.

What fun! By the way, just so you know. In your first post, parts of the fifth line would cause uproar in some sections of the population in the UK!

I would have thought the UK would be even more accepting of men with fannies. Live and learn.

Errrrrrr, let us just say that some words have a VERY different meaning in the UK!

I stumbled on that trans-Atlantic nuance here too. Best not to use the word. If you really need to know, send a PM.

No need to apologise my dear chap, its an easy and unintentional mistake to make on an international website.

I too stopped at that word and was a bit shocked .....but then realized that the fellow was from America and not the old country......We supposedly all speak the same language but some words have a very different meaning and some words are used in a much different context

During Service School in San Diego we had some Ozzies attending classes. We also made a baseball team between us. One day, a minor incident was caused when one Oz sailor asked one of my mates if he fancied a fag. I explained he was offering a cigarette.

Later, at practice it was my turn to feel chagrined at the look on the Australian faces when I asked if they felt like we should shag some in the outfield.

Perfectly innocent words, in our respective English dialects. Definitely a family of peoples divided by a common language.
