Well, it's taken me too long to get these posted, but I have been fighting with the photo uploader for a little while. Today, Success!!
On July 1st, Canada Day, my family and I were in Ottawa. Since we were visiting my sister-in-law, I didn't wear my kilt out, but I am pleased to say that I saw several that day; including a gentleman in a lovely weathered tartan walking with his wife. The most entertaining, however, was this street performer who was just down from parliament hill.
Mounting the unicycle in the kilt was part of his show, as he draped around the heads of the gentlemen who were holding up his unicycle. I wondered if he was going to play the pipes on the unicycle, but we wandered off before that happened. (I thought of OC Richard.)
