Where I work ?
Many thanks to Robert aka Ancienne Alliance for bringing my "Scotland's West Coast" thread back to light, and many thanks to those that commented, So I thought I would start a new thread, what with "Homecoming 2009" on the horizon, to let all forum members know where I work and who I work for, and if there is any information you desire, please pm me and I will be only to pleased to oblige.
I work for Visit Scotland, Tourist Information Centre at Inveraray, Argyll, Scotland, the office is the stone coloured part of the three storey building in the centre of the below photo

and this is the view I am forced to put up with everyday I am at work

And another view of the Aray Bridge, I had been watching and waiting for the right time all morning, and then it happened, I put a "Back in 10 minutes" notice on the front door of the shop, locked up, grabbed my camera, and these are the results.
The bridge was designed by Robert Mylne between 1772-76, replacing the earlier 'King's Bridge', built in 1758-59 by John Adam but swept away in 1772.

as I said, if I can be of any help, please do not hesitate to get in touch

WOW those are some fantastic pictures. I want to visit Dumfries Scotland and the rest of the country so, but I am approaching my twenty year Army retirement. I have my retirement orders in hand and will be going on my terminal / transitional leave 11 July and will be leaving Kansas for good and if all goes well will be settling in with the Ada County Sheriff’s Department in Boise Idaho. I guess this could also be posted in the celebration zone as well, and I will let the fantastic moderators decide what to do with my post.

Scotland is my travel wish list. The economy here and other responsibilities make it unlikely in the real near future. Unless there is a major turnaround the Gathering in 2009 is off my calendar.
Love the bridge. I believe it is probably much older than any here and looks to be in great shape. Ours are mostly a small crack away from ruin.
