A win for D.C. Dalgliesh - my new Buchanan Hunting Ancient

I had the opportunity to unveil my new Buchanan Hunting Ancient, today at a border collie / herding demonstration, at my friend Laura's sheep farm. When she's holding events open to the public, I try to help out when I can, and I always wear a kilt. Today was no exception.

The kilt is a hand-sewn by D.C. Dalgliesh, obtained through Scotweb. The fabric is a beautiful D.C. Dalgliesh 15oz single-width weave. This kilt, like the Buchanan Reproduction ordered at the same time, is gorgeous. I am very happy to add this kilt to my collection!

The kilt looks great! I love the Buchanan tartans. Also, allow me to express my admiration for the sweater!

The sweater was one of the clearance items that Nick had announced, on the Scotweb website. There are still a number of nice sweaters available there. I heartily recommend getting one. They are incredible.

The kilt and sweater look fantastic! I would love to have seen the herding demo...I have a rescue Border Collie and have become fascinated by the breed.

Great look Ken! Beautiful kilt and, not to take away from it, nice sweater too. Overall, well balanced.

I appreciate the compliments, everyone. Thanks to this forum I think my kilted wardrobe has matured a bit in the last year, and I'm getting the hang of putting things together.

Here's another shot from Saturday. These were the volunteers helping out with the event.

    Ken:

That's a fine looking Buchanan. What's that on your right hip--something to hold a dram? Looking good.
