WIP-Royal Regiment of Scotland (Ex-Army Kilt)

Based on members advice in another thread and their previous purchases I went ahead and purchased an ex-army kilt from Bugpiper (Steve McVeigh). Sorry, it's not accessorized yet, but it's really about the kilt. It is amazing. I'll have to wear it high as the drop is 25, but I think it works? What a great place X Marks is that I could find something like this from reading all the great posts. Cheers and thanks!

That is tremendous. Glad you had a good purchase. I have not ordered from Bug but this is inspiring.

Nice looking kilt. It could go an inch higher. It might well feel strange, but it looks proper and will in time come to feel much more comfortable and natural.
I assume these are mirror shots? (2 buckles appear to be on the left)

What a great-looking kilt! Congratulations. Nice acquisition. Post some fully accessorized pics, when you get a chance.

My family kilt has a high rise. It's length is over 24", whereas I usually order them at 22" - 22 1/2". It fits up just under my rib cage. Love it, especially in the winter time, ... which fortunately you have lots of in Madison.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Yes, definitely a mirror shot and I will try to move it a bit higher, but it's pretty close to the bottom of my ribs as is. Honestly, it feels pretty comfortable now. I expect it will get even more so the more I wear it.
