Woman of Excellence Awards Dinner
My wife and many of our friends are involved with a local chapter of the American Business Womens Association, and every year the ABWA has a 'Woman of Excellence' awards dinner. This year our friend Mindy was one of the honorees.

Here's Shelley and I. We did some professional photos, but it will be a while till I see them. As usual, I was the only guy in a kilt!

Mindy and Me.

Some of our group.

This event is supposed to be Black-Tie, but I'd bet almost half of the men there were in business suits, half of them not even in dark ones! I kind of feel sorry for some of the ladies, this is a big deal for them, they get all dolled up, and their escort is wearing a tan suit, blue shirt and an ugly tie! But that's a rant for another time....

It is a sad commentary that Black-Tie affairs are not taken as seriously as they once were. However, you look good doing your part to keep it alive.
Congratulations to your friend.

Z,
You have male friends right?
I know that photographic evidence doesn't support this, but come on you have to have a least one male friend?
Or is it your sad fate to always be surrounded by lovely ladies?

Glad to see one gent is happy to dress to the nines to support his friends and look dashing for his elegant lady.
Cheers

You look outstanding Zardoz, as does your beautiful wife.. I know you are especially proud of your Ladies... They are a remarkable lot, and they greatly impressed me with their intelligence and sense of humor.. It's not surprising that they are recognized for their achievements..
I hope I can get down your way again, and enjoy the company of you and your friends, again.

Well done, Zardoz! You did your part to honor the honorees and guests and your lovely lady by showing you know how to dress!

Yes, I have plenty of male friends, some of them kilt wearers and everything! They are just not as interesting as my girls are! But if y'all would rather I start posting up pictures of guys, I can do that!
