Wore the new Kilt and PC to Easter Service

Got a chance to try out the new 8yd Traditional Kilt, PC coatee and waistcoat, fly plaid, and other goodies this morning, while attending Easter Service.

As this was the first opportunity to try everything on, soup to nuts, since the quick check for fit when things first arrived, I was quite pleased with the result! I might have my tailor take the sleeves up a half inch, and I think perhaps the bottle green hose may have looked a little better, but overall, I was happy.

There were lots of compliments at church.

Thank you. If my Dad were still with us, I like to think he'd approve.

There's a reason for that. You look great! ... like you were dressed by a Hollywood wardrobe department.

Everything looks perfect, but I particularly like your plaid - very nice! Yes, bottle green hose would probably blend better with your kilt, but the "tan" (or whatever color) hose pulls one's gaze to your sporran. To me it's a wash. Well done, ... and most importantly, Happy Easter!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

You mean it's not because I'm built like a Greek god? I'm disappointed. LOL ;)

I think you are right about the sleeves. I think you'll like them better a little shorter.

I am wondering about the hose, too, just because they seem a little bit behind the rest of the outfit. If you can match the green, I think a pair of green and black diced ones would look splendid, but you might also consider the "Hunting Scot" or "Royal Scot" generic tartan hose available from several outlets...

Or don't change a thing- as others have noted, you look very nice, indeed.
