This site was just posted on the UK board.

Pretty wild stuff, maybe for the younger guys.

Yeah I posted this one awhile back. I think the concensus was "it's nice to see people pushing sporrans in new directions, but I probably wouldn't wear one". Some criticism that they looked a bit effeminate.

I like the idea of funky sporrans, but not at these prices.

Yeah besides talking having a hard time matching shoes to your sporran!

You've got to give her credit where credit's due though!

Someone's taking a simple item and throwing some originality into the mix. Kind of like UtiliKilts, and some of Bear's designs.

I'm all for it!!! Anything but the same-old, same-old. I can actually see some great uses for them with some of the contemporary kilts... if not side packs on jeans.

So it is a bit like "Monster Nation" - tricked out sporrans for that anti-establishment crowd.....

Personally, I consider them to be bugly sporrans.

    (BTW, bugly = butt ugly)

Just my $0.02 on the matter.

    Bugly
Is Bugly related to Fugly, by any chance?

Bugly is the polite cousing of Fugly.

I suspected so. Those sporrans are slightly horrible, though, ain't they? I think some of the material used would soon get ratty. My sole Mocker Utilikilt has deep pockets making a sporran unnecessary but I'd certainly wear one if I saw something which caught my eye. It has to be decent leather and preferably without traditional tassels and whathaveyou - not that there's anything wrong with tradition but the modern look of a Utilikilt maybe calls for something more... utilitarian?
