Hell-o all,

Today I went to the funeral of a friend of mine, so I decided in honor of his memory I would wear the kilt he admired the most (my Maple Leaf from Bear). Upon arriving I meant his 97 year old mother who automatically said "you must be Glen, he mentioned that you were his kilted friend." When I told her that it was his favorite kilt of mine that I was wearing, she said "how sweet of you".

I guess sometimes we do not know how we influence people, in life or in death.

I'm sorry about your friend, but then funerals are not such bad things, really. They give us a time and a place to remember and pay tribute to people that are important to us. I'm glad you got to go, and glad his mum liked your Maple Leaf.
