    My US Army tartan kilt
Here's some pictures of my new kilt in the US Army tartan that I just got today from Alexis Malcolm:

I had it pleated to stripe:

This is the US Army kilt pin that Alexis offers:

And this is the US Army belt buckle and clan badge:

I didn't have anyone to take a picture of me wearing it, so that will have to wait. I also went ahead and got a fly plaid to go with it as well.

Beautiful kilt, and a tartan I'm very much interested in! I wonder why the horizontal blue stripe seems so much more prominent than the vertical one, though...?

    Sharp looking.

Must be Army day. I'm at work wearing my L.L. Bean West Point Tartan shirt over my black UK Workman's with my dad's 346th Fighter Squadron Army Air Corps patches on the pockets.

I noticed that myself. It seems like the horizontal blue stripe is a lighter shade than the vertical one. All the other colors look identical both directions.

That is a beautiful kilt. Wear it with pride. All of the US Armed Forces tartans are really nice. I'm a Navy vet, and have considered getting that tartan sometime in the future.

SportKilt offers their kilts in U.S.Army tartan as well if you'd like an inexpensive one. I'm thinking of making that kilt my uniform for work ... I'm an Army veteran and have my name, rank and service on the side of my truck. My company logo looks like old Army Air Corps nose art from WWII.

Anyway, you've got a damned nice kilt there.

hrmmm....I really like that effect. I'm wondering if you could do it on purpose?
It looks great on the kilt in the picture.

[SARCASM]Thanks Dave[/SARCASM] Just as I convince myself that I don't really need a kilt in that US Army Tartan, you go and post pictures of it. Maybe if you convince the Army to by more from me, I'll get a big enough commision check to get that kilt...and the XMarks

Another very sharp tartan and kilt
