    Caledonia Semi-traditional Pics
Wore my USA Kilts Caledonia semi-trad for the drive down to the Flagstaff Games today. Thought I'd take some pics with the new fancy camera.

I know when it was on my wish list it was difficult to find pics of the finished kilt. Thanks to those of you who did post pics of your Caledonia tartan kilts. Figured there may be more with this tartan on their wish list so passing it on. Its an intricate, but beautiful tartan. Hope that shows.

Background is House Rock Valley, the top of Marble Canyon of the Colorado River, the Vermillion Cliffs and in the far background the Kaibab Plateau.

Here's a better pic of the tartan.

Thanks, Ron, I am adding that beautiful tartan to my USAK wish list. And, that area of Arizona is beautiful. I lived in Tucson for years.

Nice looking kilt and tartan, Ron. Looks like you've mastered the new camera. Like the scenery but also like the close-ups. :D

Very nice and the shirt goes very well with it.

Wear is the shirt from by the by? Really interesting/usful looking with all the pockets.

    Cheers

    Thanks Jamie,

    The shirt is from www.columbia.com

Not sure which model. Back label says Performance Fishing Gear.

Columbia makes a wide line of these fishing shirts/hiking shirts/guide shirts. Think you can find them at L.L. Bean and Cabella's too.

They come in some bright colors that go with some brighter tartan colors. I just don't trust catalog/on line colors enough to order that way. Gotta get down to the big box sporting goods store in Phoenix and do some color matching. But with these fishing type shirts we're not limited to the usual brown and green outdoor wear colors.

And, some models, like this one, have enough pockets so that if you're traveling light you won't/don't need a sporran. A great feature when in casual kilt mode.

That looks really nice Ron. Another tartan to add to the list.

It's getting to be a pretty big list. :D
