WPG has a close out on RAF Ike style jackets for 75 bucks.

Nice jacket and a pretty good price if they have your size. They don't have mine!

Anyone interested can heck them out here. Just show photos if you buy one.

    Thanks for the heads up!
I succumbed! That’s a dangerous spot to visit. I escaped with one other purchase; the Scottish dress tunic - $48. Mandatory pix will follow.

Heck of a DEAL gentlemen. I paid full price for mine back when and still feel I got full value.

This "look" goes well with kilts, and they are toasty warm when buttoned up or you can adjust the buttons (depending upon the occasion of course) for less warmth.

The battlejacket doesn't come with insignia. I added them in honor of my father's RAF service.

Great look, Ron. You just added to my post purchase satisfaction.

My ten-year-old grandson has taken up flying. A club in Tucson takes kids up for their first small plane flight. Checked to see if Jerry had a jacket small enough for him - no joy. Would have been cool to get the boy a battlejacket like his great grandfather wore in the war. Guess he'll have to grow into mine.

Occured to me I've not worn my RAF replica battle jacket with other kilts than my RAF tartan. But as you can see from some other guys pics it does go well with a variety of tartans.

I thought I remembered Ron having one of those jackets. And it realy does look great with a kilt. Scottie Thompson featured such a thing in his book, So You're Going to . . .and I've wanted one ever since.

They do have a really nice one in the enlisted and officers US uniforms, but they're a lot more pricey. One of these days . . .
