Everyday kilt wearer - on Halloween, it's odd
I've been wearing my kilt every time I've gone out for the last 3 weeks (since I got my first kilt).
Today I was out and because it's Halloween night, there are occasionally people with costumes out in the day. Even the workers at the checkouts at the grocery stores had costumes.
It feels a bit odd today since maybe some people see me and think I'm trying to wear a costume of some 'Scottish guy' but I'm just wearing my kilt and clothes I usually wear .... maybe they think "hmm, that's not a very authentic looking costume except for the kilt" haha
Anyway, no big deal but it did feel a bit odd going around kilted on Halloween afternoon/evening.

So a kilt wearer should dress for Halloween/Costume Parties by wearing trousers :)

Tonight i'm in jeans and a tshirt. Every other day i'm kilted for work or play. I just don't want anyone to think it's a costume on this day.

I wore my USAK casual in Caledonia yesterday and today, and Saturday I wore my Davidson for an outing of minigolf with friends. Of course, I worked from home today and didn't really go out except to take my son to school and to walk the dogs.
It was very nice to spend over a weekend unbifuricated, now if the weather would just make up its mind, it's either been amazingly cool or unseasonably warm this weekend.

I wore my Utilikilt original tonight. Not much different from any other night. I wore it with a Forest green polo shirt and hiking boots. I got a few compliments and my girlfriend loves when I wear it.

I got the "nice costume" comment yesterday. I responded with "No, no- I really am and Iron Maiden fan." I was wearing a Maiden t shirt. The guy gave me a very confused look...
