    A cocktail?

It doesn't take much to complement a mild summer evening. This uncomplicated cocktail will take the edge off, and won't outshine your favorite dark spirit.

The Godfather is two parts The Balvenie, one part Amaretto. Build over ice, stir, and serve on the rocks.

I see that, and have no problem with it, but for me the recipe would be "one part Balvenie Double Wood, another part Balvenie Doublewood, cool a bit in the summer time ( ~ 40 - 50 degrees F), and sip as desired." :)

Allen: While I often add a dash of bitters to TNT and lime juice, I don't think I would have the courage to mix Scotch and Irish "Whisk(y/ie)s". It might raise the Gaelic Furies.
