    Sporran review
This is a couple of YEARS overdue (I plead medical catastrophe...), but I'd like to note that the brown casual sporran I bought from user LKM (a Registered Hobbyist on this forum) has become my redoubtable companion to kilted wear in general. I tend to wear it for any occasion that isn't semi-formal or above, which is to say practically any time I wrap on my kilt.

The sporran is hairless, medium brown calf with a soft hand and has a feather theme to its decoration that seems to me very appropriate for the western U.S.A.. Inside, it has a stitched-in credit card/business card pocket and a d-ring for securing keys. The main compartment is just big enough for my wallet and ear waffle; a trifle small for both of those with keys (my key chain bears oversized car keys with buttons, a house alarm fob, etc.).

The "belly side" is rigged to use either a chain or a sporran strap. There's a snap closure up top (no cantle), with a tiny buckled strap for backup. It's a "belts and suspenders" sporran!

I don't believe I'll ever wear this thing out; it's stitched together like the bones of a bull. Payment and shipping proved to be an entirely genteel and trustworthy process.

Overall, I could not be more pleased, and would buy another sporran from LKM in a heartbeat. In fact, one of these days I probably will.

    Cheers,

    Jack

The strain of imagining it is producing quite a headache! Is it that brown blur in your avatar?

I'm not rock-solid on uploads, but I'll give it a shot...
