    New cap!
I know that in Scotland, these are not really kilt-oriented, but on this side of the pond they work quite well… and they fit my oversized gourd! This one’s Harris Tweed, with a quilted lining.

As I can't see the kilt in the picture, then your bonnet is absolutely fine!

If you want to wear a flat cap, spats, a fur sporran, outdated style detachable collars and a hundred year old style of jacket then, carry on. But, most in Scotland have moved on a tad since then! :hide:

I believe that this mismatched gentleman is King George V.

After some quick research, I believe that is actually Edward VII, his father.

The "mismatched gentleman" is I think King George V, but he might be King Edward VII? I think he is splendidly attired for the age, but time, fashions and expectations have moved on from there. Of course there is nothing to say that fashion is heading back from whence it came, but I honestly don't see that happening in a major way.

Pictures from 100 years ago are all very interesting, but relevant to today? I honestly don't think so.

    First, I like the cap!

Second, honest question, is it a flat cap or a newsboy cap?
