Stan, you're still on the prayer list. We'll just move you up some.

    Stan,

If you find yourself in constant pain and crabby with a desire to lash out at others have you considered being an internet forum moderator?

While in most cases these conditions are detrimental to being able to perform a job, for online moderators they are a positive boon.

    :hide:

    But seriously...

You met the last go around of medical woes head on and with good humor

I know you will rise to meet this problem with the same positive way

    You are in my thoughts

    Cheers and get well

All things considered, this is great news, all the good mojo I can muster coming your way.

Stan, Mojo and knee-mail offered up on your behalf. Don't mean to make light of your situation, but that sore certainly sounds like a major pain in the ****. . . :hide:

Stan best wishes from your other PITA - me. Only wish that medical science was as advanced as the faith of this bunch, just think you could be the first recipient of a bionic butt!

    Thanks Gang, Much appreciated;
The crappy part was at last week's checkup (despite my insisting he "look, don't touch!") Doc decided to 'brush away a bit of mucosa' I'm thinking a cotton bud & dab of spit. Instead he smeared what felt like Hydrochloric acid into the open wound! Dummy didn't imagine alcohol based cream would hurt????. I couldn't even yell, just clutched the guerney & shook - but finally managed a "Dammit to Hell! I TOLD you not to touch!!!"
Panicked, he then tried to wipe it off!!! I kicked him across the room (Maybe I'll repent later, but right now I'm REALLY enjoying the memory).

I finally hobbled to the car, sat down (Ouch!) sped home and gingerly washed it all off. Have finally recovered from that, but I have the regular cancer exam-read 'Insertion' -on the 26th, and am not looking forward to it at all.
Doc says this could take months to heal due to the radiation damage. The treatment is worse than the illness!:?
But of course sometimes we have to put on our big boy Kilts & just walk it off.

Can't wear pants at all-as the back seam hits the exact spot when I bend or sit. Lucky I have lots of kilts.:kd:

No visiting the pub, as I can't sit nor stand for too long. Bummer!:toast:

Ironic choice of words there Stan! What about one cheek on the bar stool? Sort've a half-arsed approach to sitting but if it adds a pint to the daily intake it might be worth while. Although this sounds a painful, embarrassing and nuisance recovery at least it is a recovery, perhaps your boss has further plans for you (that is besides giving me a ton of jokes at your expense).
