The Need for Tweed
So even though I recently purchased a bold tweed check Argyll on ebay, I had also bid on this more subtle houndstooth Braemar early in the auction and won it without any opposition. Perhaps I overpaid? It arrived last week, just before xmas and so I've finally gotten around to taking a photo of it to share with the kilted rabble.

Congratulations on your purchases Nathan, the Braemar style cuffed jacket becomes you well. Enjoy:D

Being a huge huge tweed fan I say you have done well. Looking quite sharp there indeed.

Very nice Nathan, I do like those overstripes. Great pick up. Cheers

Fantastic jacket. I can never seem to find a nice tweed in my size. That one looks to be a great fit for you, though. Good find.

I like the subtle overcheck.

A lovely tweed indeed! Gorgeous pattern. Well done, Nathan. I think my next tweed day jacket will have the Braemar style cuffs, I rather like the look.
Cheers,

Very dapper. Must keep looking for one for myself...

A perfect combination Sir! Evidence of a very good taste.

That is most excellent. As with others, I too am a great lover of Tweed.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It's much lighter weight than my other two tweed jackets, so it should get plenty of use during this summer's Highland Games season.
