    The bottom photo isn't supposed to be a kilt so it's a non-sequitur. Doesn't match color's well does he? I would have skipped that stupid suit jacket.

    Just so you know, “matching colours” is not something traditional kilt attire wearers in Scotland are too concerned with.

    Wearing black & white is as classic as it gets with men's formal attire. (The Dress Stewart plaid-thing, not so much.)

    Here's what matching gets you





    It is silly-looking to wear a skirt over trousers; either one or the other would have been better.
