National Tartan Day Celebration-2010
Greetings all, 23 February, 912pmMST
Macthenife and I are putting together an informal celebration of NTD.
When........
7pm, Friday 9 April
where........
"Ha'Penny Bridge" pub, 855 Broad St. downtown Boise
Shawn and I will be hosting. Buy your own food and drink. John McDade and members of "The City of Trees" band will be performing.
Will be a short dissertation on the history and significance of NTD.
So strap on your kilts, grab your spouse and come join us for an evening of a shared meal, music, and the celebration of our heritage.
We'll stay as long as the publican lets us, or we get thrown out for being too rowdy........( one can only hope)
Fide et Fortitudine, aye!
T.

off topic, I know, but is this named after the Dublin bridge of the same name? (I assume so, but as the saying goes...)

One of the professors at TVCC told me about this, sounds like a good time. My wife and I are planning on attending, any excuse to wear a kilt you know.
