With all these pictures of snow, we've been very lucky here in this part of Wales. Two pics I took from the back of the house just over a fortnight ago. This is as bad as it got and it all disappeared within a couple of hours thank goodness. It was more of a very heavy frost really. Iechyd Da Derek

Nice bit of frost Derek. I noticed that you too still have a leaf or two still on the trees. What a great setting to live in.

See...that's the great thing about living in the UK...In the US you have to drive for hours to get to beautiful, historic places and in the UK all you have to do is look out your back window! (little winky smiley face signifying an attempt at humor) Not much snow here in Chicago but temps slid into the teens with single digits at night. Brisk, crisp and hearty! We're drinking iced tea and calling it a hot beverage this week. Thanks for reminding me that I have got to find a way to spend three months in the UK and at least a month of that in Wales. best AA
Auld, Come on up! We've got 2-3 inches on the ground! Not a major storm, but great for sledding!

Very pretty. We haven't even had a frost yet. :-) Sherry
We're getting our first snow in the DC Area now. In an hour or two it'll be time to loot the grocery and abandon our cars on the Capital Beltway. Everyone knows we'll be stranded in our homes for weeks if we get 3-4 inches of snow.

I know, I'm looking out my window in Fairfax and laughing at most of these folk. Having lived for 5 years in New England I laugh at the way people handle snow here.
Fantastic pics.
Great pics. It looks like this year it's going to be an extremely dry winter. We've only had an inch total this winter and last year we had almost two feet at the same time!
your house backs up to a church? wow, it looks lovely, is it your church?
