Welcome to the forum from another hunter.

Will that be me, moving your avatar across for you then? Let me know if I can help.

Welcome Tom, nice pics.
I have dogs as well, but for bird hunting or what you would call rough shooting, mainly English Setters. And I always have at least one Lab. We do have a very active proper hunt society here in Lexington, but we generally ride to coyotes as they have virtually replaced the red fox in Kentucky.
I have always wanted to spend a holiday in Scotland with one day of driven pheasant, just so I can know that I have done it and a couple of days of rough shooting, and maybe even a week of stalking.
I wish I had found the cameron tartan when I had mine made, that is nice.
