He does, I know he does
Hell-o all,
I was at lunch today enjoying my meal, when a lass from the coffee shop shows up with a gentleman beside her. We do the introductions and I got to meet her brother. With the introductions out of the way the usual small talk is forth coming. "You play the bagpipes" was one of his comments, I replied back "I play other things, and added like the radio, the stereo, etc." Well Catherine said "don't let him fool ya', he plays the bagpipes I know he does as he is Kilted every time I see him"

Wouldn't that be an easy way to play the pipes, just be kilted a lot and then it is soooo easy! I wish.

Okay, I'm jealous. Yesterday I got the bagpipe thing. But did I get it from a pretty lass? No, I got it from some ugly panhandling guy whose breath was so laced with alcohol it was probably explosive. Where is this coffee shop of yours, Glen? I'll have to get up into that area sometime if there are as many lassies as you tend to go on about. (Just don't tell Helena, OK? )

I am dying to come up with a miniature set of bagpipes that would act as a keychain fob...they'd have one of those little electronic gizmos that they put in stuffed animals and when squeezed it would play Scotland The Brave. This would be a handy thing to whip out whem somebody yells, "Where's your bagpipes?"

My brother found some on ebay; they are fridge magnet bagpipes, very small, and play Scotland the Brave when you squeeze them. They come in Royal Stewart or Black Watch tartan!

But you can probably read music. I played the trombone in HS band, but didn't know how to read music, I put a number over each note and knew the position to play.
My dad can pick up any instrument and play it. He'll ask how a song goes, and then just play it. I should ask if he ever tried a bag pipe.
