X Marks Cookbook?
After some time spent watching the stock market I decided to turn my tastes to things more tasteful, so whipped out a 4 egg, two potato, one onion, gruyere, fritata with cumin, oregano, cinnamon, paprika, nutmeg, & black pepper to accompany some good strong tea for the wife & myself.
With the many great talents and international audience here, has there ever been the thought of a cookbook from the members? Maybe it would even generate some income for the sites pursuits.
Now back to our brunch!

I'm in...I have a recipe that all the guys like at the station...My wife insists I cook it at least once a month, but I reserve it for special occasions only, guests and holidays.
Let me know if anything materializes and I'll put the recipe instructions in order.

<Mod hat off>
sounds fun. I love to cook and find that I make most dinners, and do the majority of the cooking on weekends.

I would be willing to bet that with the talent here and the diversity of the international members, that the recipes could reflect the best of the best of Celtic, National, Regional, Cultural specialties and other very unique and wonderfully tasty favorites. Even here in the south I love strong English tea and milk along with scones, sometimes cornish pasties, a French ragout, freshly made Italian, or Texas Chili, Oakland Sourdough, or a quick stir fry. Grits and sausage biscuits only go so far, but spoonbread and Kentucky Ham, now that's some fine eats! Point being, this could combine the Celtic as well as the multi-cultural, but would have to have the blessing of "THE BOARD".

Your creation sounds delicious! I just submitted a bunch of recipes to my church's women's group for inclusion in their new cookbook.

I really like to cook. I remember I made fetuccini alfredo for my girlfriend on our second date, when she came over to my house and met my family (a thousand curses upon my brother for the night!). Anyhow, I've got a recipe for a breakfast dish my family makes every Christmas that might interest you. It's sort of like quiche, but manly.

I suspect the thing to do would be to start a recipe thread and then see how much interest there is in it.
I for one would be willing to put up some recipes and would enjoy being able to see what others have.
