Last night my Wife and I attended the Patriots Ball in Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Villages Tapa Ballroom in Waikiki. There was 651 in our Ballroom with 2 other Military Balls on other floors. I was the only one sporting a kilt and had many Soldiers, Sailors, Marines & Airman ask about my Tartan and even two Generals both said the wish they could be in a Kilt at the Ball. A lot of "the Questions" and Women that wanted to pet my "Badger" It was a Great night and the Highlight of the evening was during the "Missing Man/ Fallen Comrade" Salute- The Bagpipes were played Hauntingly with a wonderful Scottish song being sung- I do not know what it was yet, and it was only a recording. I wore my Morrison ancient hunting green tartan.
