    My New "Valet"

I once watched a show about a manor house in Scotland. For the life of me I can’t remember what manor it was, but both the master and the mistress of the house had a small upright dresser on wheels that their dresser/valet would put out what they would need for the day. I loved the idea and have looked for one in antique shops. I always thought that something like that would be nice for the few pieces of highland attire accessories I have.
Well I still have not found one yet, but I did find a little plastic rolling container that I can use for now. So here is my new plastic “valet“.

Here is my kilt collection, my new argyll jacket (now at the dry cleaners) and my sisters kilt skirt I made her. As you can see it fits in here perfectly.

With all the drawers closed and my shoes on top.

Top drawer: My bonnet, the clan banner I have in my position and Saltire.

Second drawer: Sporran, MacArthur Sash, Garters, Sigian Dubh, Kilt Pins/Sash Pins, Spare Belt Buckle, Gloves for when I am carrying the banner in parades.

Third drawer: Kilt Belt, Sporran Belts, Day Sporrans (in the back) and shoe polishing stuff (I love parade gloss!!)

    Fourth drawer: Kilt hose!!

I like that I can roll it out to where I am getting ready. I use to have everything in a dresser drawer and I hated going back and forth from my mirror which is on the other side of the room.
I just thought I would share my new toy, it might not work for those who have a ton of accessories, but it works for what I have!

    Cool. Giving me some ideas...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    Sara,
Always good to hear from you, the organization it to die for. I only wish I could be so organized.

Its great to see someone so organised, I'm with you on the Parade Gloss. I'd try to get a cotton back for your shoes, just to keep the dust off
