Too Hot for P*nts
It's hotter'n all get out around here today.
I got a call from the Master of my lodge telling me not to dress in jacket and tie tonight because we don't have AC in the Lodge Room. I don't want to wear shorts so I guess I'm forced to wear my lightweight, and cool McLaren Thrifty with a polo shirt (Oh when will this torture end?)
Dare I say, scrunched down socks with sneakers? Somebody get a hose, he's out of control!
I'll post pics for all of my shocked and apalled brothers here

I wear my wool kilt year round in Florida. A 13oz kilt breathes, though , I usually skip hose on hot days, preferring to wear Florida's official footwear, the flip-flop.

it's hot here in South Carolina, but my Sport Kilt is pretty light, so no big deal for me.

A problem in Lodge in a kilt?? That would be news to me. Mine is the Masonic Tartan, Masonic hose, and even a sgian dubh with appropriate symbols.
BTW, you are the best dressed in the line up!

I picked up my maroon boulder kilt from Sportkilt this afternoon, if the Irvine Irish faire is gonna be hot, this one's light enough to make it survivable.
CT - and it's purty too

When it get really hot (as it is wont to do in Southern California), I usually just wear a swimsuit and spend most of the day in the pool with a pitcher of iced tea.
