Tartans Authority
Is anyone else having problems accessing this site?
http://www.tartansauthority.com/
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I'm unable to reach the site as well.

It worked fine for me a few days ago, but I cannot access the site right now.
Brian Wilton runs the Authority practically single-handed - maybe he is doing some maintenance over the weekend.
Take care,
Ham.

Nada here too. I was all over it yesterday. I agree with Ham's guess.

"Failed to connect"
I'd like to add that the Tartan Ferret worked great for me last night. Hopefully it'll be corrected soon.

Actually, ever since Parliament passed that new Tartan bill the STA website has not worked for me. The fact that Hamish said it worked about a few days ago suggests that it probably worked for a few days here and there.
I'm very curious as to whether it's coincidence or not. It would not be the first time a major tartan recording group showed signs of becoming a memory.
Sometimes I like to think of myself as the "fly on the wall." I'm really just making an observation and a potential prediction. That's all!

The new Tartan bill has not yet passed through Parliament. The bill, has at this stage passed stage one (unanimously) and goes for the second reading which any issues are ironed out.
As it has been pointed out, Brian runs the shop and the STA in Crieff almost single handed " And he is on Holiday at Present". It has nothing to do with the demise of the STA.
