Been there done that. Probably right about where you were standing at some point or other. I have probably fished about every foot of public access water on that river---lots of nice runs and riffs. Looks like fun. I need to get back there as it has been many years. Well, lets just say when I was first fishing it we were catching mostly sizable bows and cutbows, with the occasional brown. Last time I fished it we caught nothing but browns. Sad. Hope the bows are coming back. And hope you had a blast as well as good luck and great weather.
Never fished it kilted though. Might be the reason I need to go back soon.
