    Crochet Tartan Afghan

    Hi all,

I found a book on Amazon.com about crocheting tartan (here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Crochet-Tartan...2033229&sr=8-1) and of course I ordered a copy. Now I'm starting an afghan in the Rose tartan (my family on my father's side).

Has anybody ever tried this technique? Any tips?

    Thanks!

That's one of those things that make you say "why didn't I think of that". Let us know how it turns out.

I wonder if it's possible to crochet a kilt.....

Possible? sure, but how are you going to keep the pleats?

    You crochet down the pleats

Seriously, that sounds interesting. Please post pics of your progress.
