FlamingoKilts in-stock fabrics
The after-holiday sales yielded a nice variety of casual kilting materials, so FlamingoKilts now has fabric in-stock while it lasts. Ten different choices are pictured and described online. All these fabrics fit into our standard kilt pricing, even the. . .
. . . wait for it. . .
FAUX SNAKESKIN! Yes, we've gone a little crazy but hope some of you join us. This is a beautiful fabric and we can't wait to pleat it "to the stripe."

Fly on by and take a peek -- all in-stock fabrics are shown at Ordering Kilts. Of course, you can still request other colors or camo patterns that fall within our "standard fabrics" description, or request a special-order quote.
Thanks for your interest!

Darn, I hate to be a spoilsport, but that is actually faux lizard skin. Snakes have single ventral scales, not a series of rectangular plates like that "skin" has.
Lizards are just snakes that haven't gotten around to losing their legs yet (at least most of them), so don't feel too bad.
And since the ventral scales are really called "scutes", you can pleat it to those and be biologically correct.

It's 60 inches wide and comes in 10-yard lengths -- I don't want to meet up with whatever it came from!
BTW I may put some hair canvas and lining in the fell area of pleats in this fabric, making these the only FlamingoKilts not machine-washable. But just imagine the sssssssssssssssssssssswish!
