In my day job many of the members of gated community where I work bestow on me during Christmas small tokens of appreciation for my work for them through out the year. The gifts usually are loaded with calories, sometimes they are healthy like the citrus fruit I received today, fresh off a tree in Florida, yesterday. A lady who owns a antique store downtown gave me this really thoughtful gift, a Scottish Piper Christmas ornament. She was definitely thinking about me!

That's a cool gift, MC. I don't think they are easy to find, either. I found a similar one (not as nice as yours) by accident at a Xmas mall in Frankenmuth, MI, last October.

I remember seeing a 3 foot seahorse there once, but that was a trip that could have landed me in a dark place, called jail. (We went as a class senior year, and I almost asked out the teachers daughter, as I worked up the courage to do it I found out she wasn't in high school yet. Nor Jr. High. She was as tall as I was, I really thought she was older. One of those strange mental scars I will always carry. )
