Another FNG signing in
I just found this board while searching for USMC kilt pins, Stillwater used to have them but don't now.
I have just received my first real kilt in the Guthrie tartan, I have a moderately priced in the Leatherneck tartan. I want the USMC kilt pins to give as presents to the pipers in the Honor Detail I am in at the Riverside National Cemetary in Southern Calif. It is an all Marine detail, we fold the flag, do the rifle salute and have a color guard for each service.
I am a Vietnam Vet, work for the Post Office and tell myself I will practice on the chanter more. I would love to become a piper for the honor detail. Yes I did read some of the piper/Marine uniform posts.
I look forward to becoming active here.

Welcome! Are you looking for the pin that BigDad1 uses as his avatar? I'll try to pick up the pic and post here for confirmation. I just saw those at a vendor site the other day. . . once we determine which pin you are seeking, I'm sure you'll find it at one of the forum vendors.
Again, welcome!
This one?
