    Point Pelee

On St Patrick's day my family and I went to Point Pelee, I have never been there it was a absolutly stuning place , what I didn't know about Point Pelee was it is the most southern point in Canada , as a bit cold but i brought my pipes and in honour of St Patty's I wore my Donegal tartan here are a few pics

It was a great day I suggest if your in Ontario in that area please check this place out.

Pipes must have sounded great with the ocean as your drummer, using the waves to keep the beat for you.

I meant for those that think that's an ocean, I had the same sort of comments when I was on the shores of Lake Ontario.

Pelee is on the same latitude as Northern California, and Detroit is north of Windsor.

It appears to be the southernmost point on the Canadian mainland but Middle Island is the southernmost place in Canada itself.

    Looks an interesting place thought!
