You've got a real mean birl there, laddie.
A kilted Celt on the border. Kentoc'h mervel eget bezañ saotret Omne bellum sumi facile, ceterum ægerrume desinere.
Oh man, he started when he was six!!! I am going through an "if only moment" Oh well....maybe in my next life!
Right now that Hornpipe piece is only in my dreams. My fingers have not had that kind of dexterity in decades. What a birl!
Whoa...that kid is awesome. Gaelic Storm was in Madison on Sunday and at the bar after their concert I was talking to Peter Purvis who started when we was 12 and is now a Grade I. I wonder what grade this kid is at?
I am not yet on the Pipes, but my tutor got wind of an excellent set of Shepherd S-2 up for sale by a piper in the area. I went to that bands practice to see the pipes and acquire them. For my 58th birthday I got a set of pipes, that were demonstrated by a Grade 2 piper that was celebrating his 16th birthday. The two of us had a great bit of fun with the day, and I learned a lot more about piping at the same time. I now will now be rehemping some of the sections, and changing the blowpipe protector. Everything else is in perfect condition. I took the pipes to my tutor, and showed him what was shown to me for work. He has them and will evaluate them further. We have made a shopping list of supplies, including a case, that I should have to go with the pipes. Slainte
