You remember that contest for the free kilt a year ago?
I was the lucky winner of it, but being as I was in the midst of some physical improvement, my measurements were all over the board. So, this summer things had settled and I was ready to put an order in. Finally pulled the trigger by the middle of August, at which point they said that with the tartan I had chosen, it would be up to 12 weeks, which I more or less expected. The ordering process was simple (once I had worked out the time difference ), everyone was very nice and very helpful.
The big surprise was when I got my kilt a mere 4 weeks later. Luckily I happened to be home that day!
At any rate, here are the pics:

The Hamish
The Manley Richardson 8 yd.
Anderson (Green) Modern
Buckles -- traditional
Leather Straps -- Black
Metal for buckles -- chrome
My only problem now is the new kilt makes my belt look a bit sketchy . . .

That is a very fine looking kilt. I'm not sure about the "scetchy," I just think it looks great.
Good work on the physical redo. Whatever you did, it seems to have worked well for you.
