Greetings,

I am a kilt-wearer and a bow tie-wearer. I am, however, having a hard time reconciling the two. I feel like a bow tie with a kilt looks too formal....or like a failed attempt to be formal. Add to that, bow ties tend to be highly patterned, which I suspect will not go with the plaid. Anyone pull off the kilt-and-bow-tie look care to suggest how to do it?
