I have been able to trace my family to Elham, England, but as of yet have been unable to verify how those Scotsman got to England. It appears they were in England at least 3 generations, and may have gone as servants/companions to one of the Lady Keiths that married into English nobility.

Any one out there with more information on the Marshalls in the Kent area of England. If you are there I can tell you about your cousins that moved to Michigan in the late 1700s.
