This may or may not be the best place for this discussion, so mod's can move it to its proper forum(and erase this line as well if needed). Anywho...

Another member recently inquired about a rattlesnake kilt pin, and another a firefighter's badge kilt pin. I got to thinking...seldom a good thing...what do members of the rabble have that they would rank as a favorite or most sentimental kilt pin. It doesn't have to be top of the list and multiples are welcome. It doesn't have to be traditional, antique, expensive or flashy. It simply has to be one that means a lot to you personally. And please, no banter about tradition or what's proper. This is simply sharing unique, unusual and beyond all else, special kilt pins and a brief explanation about why it's special to you.

Here's one of mine.

I made this from a doorknob trim ring, polymer clay, clear arcrylic and a pic of my son to wear to my wedding. My wife and I wanted him to be there for the ceremony, but he couldn't make the flight, so we almost eloped at the courthouse instead. My parents stepped up and told us to have our wedding as we planned, they payed us back for the plane tickets to Vegas, and took care of him while we were gone(being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa must have been rough for the little guy). I love this pin and have only worn it when my "Little Man" couldn't be there. It will also be in my bag next week when I leave for Ft. Sill, OK., even though he's a lot bigger now.
