Irish Caped Coat
So the new J Peterman catalog has a serious tease in it - a black and ecru lambswool Irish caped coat in 1" wide herringbone pattern.

If I've done the calculations correctly the wool weight is about 20 ounce.
Have always been pleased with what I've bought from J Peterman. Have always wanted an Inverness Cape from Mr. Antony. But the caped coat has sleeves. And the cape comes off for use as a regular coat...and for about $60 less.
And Fall is upon us in the Canyonlands.
Only question now seems to be if I can squeeze my obesity into their largest size.
Sure looks like a warm coat...
Sharing a good thing in case anyone else is tempted too.....
