5:00 pm - 6:30 pm Scotch tasting, wine and soft drinks Appetizers
6:30 pm Welcome and Address to the Haggis
7:00 pm Dinner: Cock-a-Leekie Soup, salad, haggis, roast beef, rolls, shortbread, Sherry Trifle (side dishes provided by potluck)
8:00 pm Program and Music 10:00pm Auld Lang Syne
It is requested that attendees contribute a liquid refreshment, appetizer, side dish or dessert to share.
Price is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 years and under.
Send your checks (made out to Madalyn Drago) by January 22 (so we can get a count as space is limited)

As I generally spend the weekends with my girlfriend down the Peninsula in Los Altos, this looks like a strong probability for us!

I will try to attend. If so, it will be my first Burns event! I will submit payment as soon as I can commit. Coincidentally, I used to live in Scott's Valley as a teen, and attended Soquel High School. Nice area!

Gents, It would be wonderful to see you all there. The Nor Cal Burns night is not as "proper" as some, but it has it all: haggis, the toasts and recitations, and plenty of whisky. Kilt enthusiasts of all denominations (Orthodox to Modern) are welcome.
